New British Artist - Stuart Semple
Stuart Semple is a recent sensation sweeping the British art scene. His pop art images on canvas have been compared to the works of Andy Warhol and Semple is only 28. His bold paintings with their references to entertainment display an assortment of vibrant block colours meshed and intertwined with celebrity portraiture and familiar lyrics from songs come and gone spanning the last few decades. His work is exciting, dynamic and glitzy and much a parody of youth culture today. Stuart takes his inspiration primarily from music videos and magazines and his pop art has been bought by Johnny Depp, Boy George and Debbie Harry among others.
Currently Semple is exhibiting in L O N D O N
