Houxiaoyun was born in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu China in 1977．For now he is a Chinese painting teacher at Xi’An Academy of Fine Arts. At the same time he is the vice-president of Suzhou Calligraphers Association, and  also  a member of the Jiangsu artists Association.
