Born in 1984 in Fujian province of China and graduated from Fuzhou university Arts & Crafts college.
In 2007, her lacquer paintings work, ‘Maple’ (see below) as selected for the lacquer paintings exhibition in China which was held in Xiamen.

Linchunyan

Born in 1983 in Fujian province China, Linchunyan graduated from Fuzhou Art University in 2007. She has worked as both editor of ‘Channle Arts’ a local publication and curator at the Chinese Artists Association.
2006 saw her exhibit her lacquer painting ‘Daffodils’ at the trade show of Fujian on a national stage
2007 her piece ’Farmhouse’ was selected for the 2nd exhibition of chinese lacquer painting. She has several exhibition dates lined up for the following year - we’ll keep you posted!

Zhaoya

zhaoya
Zhaoya was born in China, March 1985. Her paintings explore landscapes and their relationships with the human form. She is also a calligrapher and a keen musician. Zhaoya gets her inspiration from being a practicing Buddhist.

I stumbled across these photographs taken by a good friend of mine (who chooses to remain anonymous) and wanted to take a minute or two of my day to share with you these wonderful works… They were taken on site, in the industrial heartland of China. It just goes to show there is some beauty in everything around us, it just takes a good eye to see it sometimes. The texture, shape and composition of each piece is quite compelling. Enjoy…

The world financial system is collapsing and whilst art is selling for lower prices than pre-economic doom, it is attracting more interest than ever before. It seems that investing in art is becoming a wider trend.
A collection of photos by the contemporary American photographer William Eggleston completely sold out in New York; Sotheby’s and Christie’s have also announced their second-highest totals for an autumn contemporary art sale in London; and at the Frieze and Zoo art fairs, some dealers reported bullish sales (see Market News).
