Often it is remarked that the only artist who wouldn’t be in danger of winning the Turner Prize is Turner himself. The Turner Prize which is as controversial as ever will be displaying the works of the selected four nominees from Sept 30th through till the 1st December when the winner shall be announced.

Born Marcus Rothkowitz (Latvian: Marks Rotko; September 25, 1903–February 25, 1970), In Russia, Rothko, was a Latvian-born American painter and printmaker who is classified as an abstract expressionist. When I think of the works produced by Henri Matisse it is perhaps the collages that he produced and not so much his paintings which I most associate with him. In 1941 he was diagnosed with cancer and confined to a wheelchair. Having recently divorced he was cared for by one his longtime models, Lidia Delektorskay a Russian woman who looked after him until his death. 2006 Graduated from Fuzhou arts and crafts collage. Kedengke specializes in portraiture and has successfully sold many pieces of work before and after graduating he is currently majoring in Environment Design but will be exhibiting in his home province early next year. We’ll keep you posted!

Born in Fujian province, Southern China, Baijilian was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in July 2007 from Xiamen University of Art.
Baijinlian’s work concentrates on traditional themes, rural landscapes of China features as a predominant subject in her paintings and various still life works. With each painting there is a wonderful use of color and composition. Her works have a simple calm nature to them and a sense of adventure.
So far she has held three exhibitions all in the province of Fujian so far and her works have been awarded respectively, first, second and third places.
